X2 Medical Billing Future Projects & Goals    

X2 is currently in the process of working on projects to benefit medical providers and their staff.

  • X2 Medical Billing Software Services: X2 Medical Billing has at this time sucessfully mapped the 837I and 837P files. These files have been accepted by government, state and commercial health insurance companies. This means that claims will now transfer with needed attachments directly to the insurance company.  We are registered with a National Clearinghouse for portal services. Clearinghouse services are for X2 Medical Billing Clients only. The X2 Medical Billing software and programs are in place to accomodate each of our clients individual needs for processing data.

  •  Paperless :  X2 will do everything possible to use electronic means to support paperless services.  When we recieve faxed charges they are in an electronic form and then placed into the medical providers electronic folder for EDI preparation transactions. We understand that there are offices that still use all paper methods and if you want to continue using paper superbills and medical records we do understand and will work with you accordingly. Also here at X2 Medical Billing we file all claims including secondary and certificates of medical necessity forms electronically. 
  • Greg and Beverly are now preparing for the implimentation of the 5010 Version.                                                                                                          
  • ICD-10: On August 15, 2008 the Department of Health and Human Services announced the proposed rule that, effective October 1, 2013, the ICD-10 Code sets would replace the ICD-9 CM code sets. Greg and Beverly are at this time using all educational resources to prepare for the ICD-10 implementation. This  includes software transition and academic preparation .
  •  Compliance Program Manual: UPDATE:  09-15-2008  With all the rules and regulations placed by HIPAA we have found through our research that it is beneficial to have a compliance program manual in place at X2 for all employees of this company .  As of 09-15-2008 the manuel was completed. It is now available, reviewed and signed by employees of this company to ensure that adequate systems are in place to facilitate and promote ethical and legal conduct.

  • Goal:  Our goal here at X2 is to ensure quality services in one package.  We are doing our very best to complete all the work needed to submit your healthcare claims here at our office and without the use of outside services. We will continue our research and education in this ever changing field and to do our very best to keep up with the demands of the government and health insurance companies to ensure your reimbursement rate remains at a reasonable and steady level.
