• X2 Medical Billing EDI Software Services: X2 Medical Billing has completed and passed 5010 Certifications for 837I, 837P, 270 and 276 files for Long Term and Acute Care. We are registered with a National Clearing house for portal services when needed.  Software services are for X2 Medical Billing Clients only, depending on contracts. The X2 Medical Billing EDI software and programs are in place to accommodate each of our clients individual needs for submitting and processing data.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
•  Paperless :  X2 will do everything possible to use electronic means to support paperless services.  When we recieve faxed charges they are in an electronic format and then placed into the medical providers electronic folder for EDI preparation transactions. We understand that there are offices that still use all paper methods and if you want to continue using paper super bills and medical records we do understand and will work with you accordingly. Also here at X2 Medical Billing we file all claims including secondary and certificates of medical necessity forms electronically. 
• The implementation of the 5010 Version is complete and we are submitting 837, 276 &270 files for 5010. X2 Medical Billing EDI Software is HIPAA5010 Certified by Edifecs, the testing center for CAQH Core Certifications.                                                                                                       
• ICD-10: On August 15, 2008 the Department of Health and Human Services announced the proposed rule that, effective October 1, 2013, the ICD-10 Code sets would replace the ICD-9 CM code sets. X2 Medical Billing is at this time using all educational resources to prepare for the ICD-10 implementation. This  includes software transition and academic preparation .
